Waterhouse's works span over 5 decades. Some of his earlier works aren't my favorite ones, but they show the progress he made with each newer painting. One of his earliests, 'Unwelcome Companion: A Street Scene in Cairo' can be seen today at Towneley Hall Art Gallery and Museums. It was here that I saw Destiny in person.
